Privacy Policy
What I collect, why, who handles it, and your choices.
This policy explains what information Grow Your Niche collects, why, who handles it, and the choices you have. Grow Your Niche is run by Jessi Lynn. You can reach me at contact@growyourniche.com with any question about it.
What I collect
- When you send a message through the contact form: your name, your email address and your message. I use them to reply to you.
- When you buy something: payment is handled by Stripe, which collects your payment details. I never see or store your card number. I receive your name, your email address and which product you bought, so I can email your download link.
- If you tick the box to hear from me at checkout: your name and email are added to my email list, and I note which product you bought. You can leave the list at any time.
- When you download a product: a record linking your email, the product and how many times the link was used, so the link can expire after 30 days or 5 downloads.
- When you visit the site: basic technical information such as your browser, device, the pages you view and your approximate location, collected by my web host and by the Meta Pixel described below.
How I use it
- To deliver the products you buy and answer your messages.
- To send you emails about products and news, only if you chose to receive them.
- To measure how my website and ads perform, and to show my ads to people who may be interested.
- To keep the site secure and stop spam.
Who handles your information
I use these services to run the site. Each processes information on my behalf under its own privacy policy:
- Stripe for payments.
- Resend for sending emails and keeping my email list.
- Cloudflare for the programs behind the contact form and downloads, for storing the product files, and for the spam check on the contact form.
- Hostinger for hosting the website.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for the Meta Pixel.
- Substack for the blog and newsletter, which has its own privacy policy.
I do not sell your personal information for money. I do share some browsing information with Meta through the pixel, which some privacy laws treat as a type of sharing for advertising. See the next section for how to control that.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta. It records visits and purchases, along with details such as your IP address and browser, so I can measure my advertising and show my ads to relevant people on Facebook and Instagram. It places cookies in your browser to do this.
To limit this, you can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings, block or delete cookies in your browser, or use a browser or extension that blocks trackers. The site still works if you do.
Your choices
- Email: every marketing email lets you unsubscribe. Download-link emails about a purchase are not marketing.
- Your data: email me to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live, for example California, the UK or the EU, you may have legal rights to do this, and I will honor them.
How long I keep it
Contact messages and purchase records are kept as long as needed to answer you, to resend a download if something goes wrong, and to meet any legal or accounting requirements. Download links themselves expire after 30 days. I delete information when you ask, unless the law requires me to keep it.
Security and children
I use reputable services and keep access to my records locked down, but no system on the internet is perfectly secure. This site is for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If I change this policy, I will update the date below. The current version is always on this page.
